The challenge
- Heating solutions often require a consideration for noise levels & emissions management – particularly in public sector environments. Cross Rental Services provide a TOTAL managed service to incorporate every customer consideration.
- In this instance Cross were asked to heat a 70,000 metre squared building, with a carefully managed solution incorporating shift patterns, fume extraction & decibel level management – in addition to the heating solution
The solution
- Cross Rental Services first undertook an in depth site survey through our team of expert engineers
- On specification we subsequently installed an externally placed 600kW containerised boiler, connected internally to 4 x 200 kW air handling units, via flexible boiler hose with quick coupler connections, time clock linked & controlled via thermostat – for full temperature control
- Air handling units were positioned on scaffold platforms, protected by barriers for site safety & sound management
- Fume extraction was delivered through 8 independent extraction systems & a ducting network
The outcome
Meticulous planning & expertise gave our important customer the solution they required & guaranteed this public sector customer full heating with no unwanted compromise Monthly planned preventative service & full fuel management ensured that the site ran smoothly for the duration of the 36 month hire
