The challenge
A 100Kw boiler was urgently required to provide domestic hot water for an accommodation block due to a leak in their district mains. The customer sent an urgent email on a Friday, just before the weekend, requesting immediate assistance. Initial attempts to contact the customer to book a site survey were unsuccessful. Given the urgency, a team member decided to visit the site directly soon after receiving the email. Leveraging her security clearance, she gained access without prior booking. Upon arrival, a representative on-site facilitated the walkthrough and expressed appreciation for the prompt response and support.
The solution
We specified a 100Kw containerised boiler powered by heating oil, an electrical supply from the plant room, and a separate fuel cell. Additional security measures, such as Heras fencing, were also incorporated based on site requirements. The kit was delivered and installed on the requested date. The installation was completed efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption and a quick restoration of domestic hot water for the accommodation block.
The outcome
The proactive approach and swift response by our team resulted in the successful deployment of the 100Kw boiler within the tight deadline. The solution provided met all specified requirements and ensured continued comfort for the occupants of the accommodation block. The project manager’s feedback highlighted the effectiveness of the rapid response and on-site support, ensuring that the urgent need was met with precision and professionalism. This case study exemplifies our commitment to delivering timely and effective solutions, even in urgent and challenging scenarios.
