Long Term Chiller Hire Supports Wastewater Treatment Plant
The Challenge
- After the ageing chillers on a wastewater treatment plant needed to be replaced, Cross Rental Services was contacted to provide a long term chiller hire solution.

- After an initial site survey, Cross Rental Services’ experienced engineering team decided that a solution of two 100kW chillers should be provided to support the process being carried out on site.
- Due to the long term nature of the hire, Cross Rental Services provided brand new chillers for the treatment plant.
- Within 48 hours of first contact, Cross Rental Services had surveyed the site in addition to delivering and installing the chillers.
The Outcome
The client was satisfied with the prompt reaction in response to their initial enquiry. This year will mark the 10th year of permanent chiller hire on this site with the new chillers being hired for an additional 4 years.
