This season, we’re taking our passion for engineering somewhere a little different – the British Superbike paddock.

We’re thrilled to confirm our new partnership with MLav Racing and the Cheshire Mouldings British Superbike team for the 2026 season. It’s a collaboration that feels genuinely close to home – because when you look at what makes a race team tick, you see a lot of the same things that drive us every day: skilled engineers, tight deadlines, and the expectation to perform when it matters most.

What This Means for Our Customers and Team

The partnership runs across eleven race events from May to October, including one international round in the Netherlands, and we can’t wait to share it with you. Throughout the season, we’ll be inviting customers and colleagues to join us trackside – meeting the riders, getting a look behind the scenes in the garage, and enjoying hospitality in one of the most exciting sporting environments in the UK. Access like this is genuinely rare, and we want to make the most of it.

Our branding will appear on the bikes, race gear and team transportation, but for us this has never just been about visibility. We got involved because we believe in what MLav Racing stands for, and because we think there’s a real story to tell about the role engineering plays – on the track and in our own business.

Why MLav Racing?

Our Group CEO Graeme Nesbitt puts it best:

MLav Racing has built a reputation for precision, high performance and a commitment to developing talent. Those qualities sit very close to the way our own teams work, with our highly skilled engineers serving as the backbone of our business. The ‘flat out’ nature of the BSB paddock reminds me a lot of the rental industry – we need to be ready to support our clients when they need us most, and I see a lot of overlap with the way MLav Racing operate as they prepare to compete in the most competitive domestic race series in the world.

The access we can offer customers and colleagues is rare, and the chance to connect engineering on the track with engineering in our sector feels like a natural fit. We are looking forward to bringing people alongside the team throughout the season and using this as a fresh way to engage with our customers in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Michael Laverty, Owner of MLav Racing, added:

Engineering is at the centre of what we do, so working with a partner that values technical skill as highly as we do feels like the right match. From our earliest chats it was clear that Cross Rental Services brings real enthusiasm for the sport and a genuine interest in the work that happens behind the scenes. We are pleased to welcome their customers and teams into our paddock this year and look forward to building a relationship that highlights the people and the craft that keep both of our organisations performing at a high level.
