The Challenge

We were approached for a large scale cooling solution for a busy shopping and entertainment complex. The client required chillers to maintain cooling during their existing chillers downtime and replacement.

The Solution

• We identified the install as a large scale technical job and therefore our technical engineer as well as our expert sales manager to assess the site requirements.

• During the site survey our team assessed the site and height challenges; instructing that our installation team would require IPAF training to use the access equipment to carry out the install and comply with health and safety.

• We supplied two 125kW chiller units and four air handling units to supply effective ducted cooling to the large area. We split our four ahu ducts into eight RTM units – allowing our client to have the desired level of cooling capacity and high air flow.

• Our specialist teams extensively planned and installed ducting at height; our IPAF trained engineers used an articulated boom lift to achieve the install for the client. This means that we did not require outsourced heights teams.
